TRAVEL ARRANGEMENTS

The Committee will take care of obtaining a working visa necessary to enter and perform in Hong Kong for each one of the 35 participants plus those entering the competition directly in Round II. Once issued, the visas will be sent to each one of the participants by courier to the address indicated in their registration forms.

The 35 participants taking part in Round I of the competition will be expected to arrive in Hong Kong by Wednesday 1^st October 2008 latest.

Those participants entering the competition directly in Round II will be expected to arrive in Hong Kong by Wednesday 8^th October 2008 latest.

Each participant will let the Committee know the details of their traveling arrangements at least 20 days before their arrival date.

The 35 participants will have to buy their return air tickets to travel to Hong Kong. However, the 15 candidates chosen to participate in Round II (Quarterfinals) of the competition, including those directly participating in Round II will have their return economy air tickets to Hong Kong from their place of residence refunded for the amount indicated in the receipt of purchase of their tickets but not exceeding USD 1,500 in all cases. The participants will have to seek the approval of the Committee, in writing, before buying their air tickets in order to get this refund, should they become eligible to get it. The refund will only be made against presentation of this written approval.

The participants should make sure that their air tickets have a return date that can be changed.

The Committee will let each of the participants know of the arrangements that will be made for their transportation from the airport in Hong Kong to the designated hotel where they will be staying for the duration of their participation in the competition.
