GIUSEPPE ANDALORO

Giuseppe Andaloro is a First Prize winner and recipient of special prizes at prestigious international competitions including the London World Piano Competition, the Sendai International Music Competition, the Hong Kong International Piano Competition, the Porto International Piano Competition, and the Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano. In 2005, he received a special recognition for Artistic Merit from the Italian Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities.

Widely considered one of the most acclaimed performers of his generation, he began an intensive concert career at a very young age. He has performed at major festivals and in some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls, including Teatro alla Scala in Milan, Teatro San Carlo in Naples, Sala Santa Cecilia at the Parco della Musica in Rome, Teatro Massimo in Palermo, Teatro Petruzzelli in Bari, the Mozarteum Großes Saal in Salzburg, Salle Gaveau and Salle Cortot in Paris, Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall in London, Konzerthaus Berlin, Sumida Triphony Hall in Tokyo, Esplanade Auditorium in Singapore, Lotte Concert Hall in Seoul, and Hong Kong City Hall Concert Hall.

He has appeared as a soloist with renowned international orchestras including the London Philharmonic Orchestra, NHK Symphony Orchestra in Tokyo, Singapore Symphony Orchestra, Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonische Camerata Berlin, London Mozart Players, Orchestra dell’Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Rome, Orchestra Giuseppe Verdi in Milan, Orchestra del Teatro San Carlo in Naples, and Orchestra del Teatro Massimo in Palermo. He has collaborated with conductors including Vladimir Ashkenazy, Gianandrea Noseda, and Andrew Parrott.

Giuseppe Andaloro has also collaborated with prominent artists including Sarah Chang, Anna Tifu, Sergej Krylov, Giovanni Sollima, Enrico Dindo, Stefano Bollani, and John Malkovich.

He regularly gives masterclasses in Italy and abroad and has served on the juries of major international competitions. A frequent guest on radio and television broadcasts, he has made extensive commercial recordings for prestigious labels including Warner, Sony, Naxos, Brilliant, and BAM.
